I don't think he knew HOW female can be pregnant, so he just imagined Kanga pregnant cause he saw his mommy expecting new baby before and he was very surprised ^_^. Kanga is only female in the plush gang, so he imagined her pregnant. This is just a fairy tale there's no need for realism =)
